Three Creeks (or Three Creek) is not now in Brunswick Co. The headwaters lie in that portion of Greensville Co. formed from Brunswick Co., which in turn was formed from Sussex Co., formed from Surry Co. Most of the water course lies in Southampton Co., where it empties into the Nottoway River. Southampton Co. was formed from Isle of Wight Co.
