I forgot to mention my Jones line as I'm not sure how it fits into Surry. My great grandmother, Mary Ethel Jones b. May 05, 1878 in Brunswich County, VA married A.W. Bohannan in 1901 in Surry County. From what I'm told, Mary Ethel was orphaned and came to live with an Aunt in Surry County. I have no idea who this aunt was or how to go about finding out. Any suggestions are welcome.
