I am researching SIMMONS, HUNT, and JONES (abt 1700-1760) William SIMMONS, the son of John and Ann (Possibly JONES) SIMMONS was born about 1725-1730 in VA. He was given land by his God-Father, Henry JONES in 1743 in Edgecumbe Co., NC. William was to let him mother and father John and Ann SIMMONS live on the land. William married about 1750-1755 in Granville Co., NC, Elizabeth HUNT, daughter of Henry and Agnes HUNT. The HUNT's were from Surry Co., VA. Researching the ancestors of John and Ann SIMMONS.
