In my records I have the parents of Captain John Mason b. 1693/94, Mathews Mount, Surry Co., VA, d Sept. 1755 as James MASON b. Abt 1671 d. 1702 and Elizabeth DUKE b. Abt 1670. I got this information off of Rootsweb. It was posted by Raymond L. Montgomery. The e-mail address at the time I retrieved the information was montereng1@hotmail.com. I can probably tell you if it is verified information.
