I do not believe that the Thomas Porter b 1734 and married Sarah Weaver was from the Thomas Porter-Ann Calvert Line. I believe, but do not have full proof, that the Thomas Porter b 1734 came from a different Porter line. There were several others in that area of VA at the same time. The Thomas Porter b 1734 had a son named Edwin who had a son name William-these are not given names in the Porter-Calvert downline or upline. Not proof, but nothing on this other Porter line seems to match other than near proximity.
