    3. I do not believe that the Thomas Porter b 1734 and married Sarah Weaver was from the Thomas Porter-Ann Calvert Line. I believe, but do not have full proof, that the Thomas Porter b 1734 came from a different Porter line. There were several others in that area of VA at the same time. The Thomas Porter b 1734 had a son named Edwin who had a son name William-these are not given names in the Porter-Calvert downline or upline. Not proof, but nothing on this other Porter line seems to match other than near proximity. This Thomas was the brother of Samuel PORTER b. 1731 m. Eva WEAVER, do Tilman, and not the sister of Sarah. Ann was the daughter of Charles CALVERT m. Mary HOWSON. Ann's sister Sarah Howson CALVERT m. Nathaniel JONES.
