    2. I just finished reviewing the info you sent. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!! A real treasure trove!! I appears Selden Benjamin Raines and Margaret E. had five children: * Mary E b.1852 (married Thomas Murray in 1872) * Twins, Lucy A and Ann S (who died in 1854) both born 22 Feb 1853 Lucy married Benjamin Black of Culpepper Co.in 1878 * Robert T. b. 10 Mar 1855 (married Julia Willenbeucher, 1886 * Adelaide V. b. 1865 married Charles Frazier in 1887 Other records seem to indicate big family of Raines' including Rowzee, John (or James) M,, Benjamin, William Benjamin, J. M. (Wife Louisa F.), etc. Are any related? This is a real help, and any infor from the list on any of these would be appreciated. Questions for Hollye: * There are minor errors in the records listed. This may be in the source documents. Are corrections desired (I know this list is compiled by Therese Fisher?) * What does abbreviation PSF mean? * What does abbreviation STMR mean? * Thrush is listed a cause of death. What is thrush?? Again, Hollye, MANY THANKS!!! Can rest of list help now?? Best Wishes!!! Tim Raines

    3. I'm glad the info was of help to you! Let me see if I can answer some of your questions: According to Therese Fisher's abbreviations, * OM - Orange County Marriage (usually a minister's return) * STMR - Stafford Marriage Record Book at the Stafford County Courthouse * PCF - Presbyterian Church in Fredericksburg Thrush is more commonly referred to as a yeast infection or an overgrowth of yeast. The term is usually assoicated with an oral yeast infection. Sometimes it can get out of control, especially if the person has a lowered immune system. Also, if you have corrections, I would love to have them, as I can post them next to the information on the Stafford County, VA GenWeb, and I will credit you with the info. Again, glad I could assist.
