    3. If anyone out there has more detailed information on this Peyton family, please share! Thanks in advance for any help you can provide! STAFFORD COUNTY, VIRGINIA, PEYTON FAMILY: I have THOMAS PEYTON, b. 1790 & SARAH MADDOX PEYTON, b. 1794, d. 1 JUL 1877, age 83. They were married in 1812. son of: CHARLES PEYTON & ELIZABETH son of: EVAN PEYTON & ANNE son of: CHARLES PEYTON & DIANA Thomas & Sarah (Maddox) Peyton's children were: Richard Peyton (of Philadelphia, PA and Cincinnati, OH) Ann Carter (Peyton) Jenkins of Richmond, VA, who had two sons. They were quite wealthy and have a mausoleum at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, OR ANNE "NANCY" PAYTON/PEYTON, who married GUSTAVUS LIMBRICK (They were both murdered by her cousin, JOHN ROBERSON) Robert T. Peyton, b. 1823, Stafford, VA; m. Sarah A.; Robert died (age 48) on 29 AUG 1871. LUCINDA JANE PEYTON, m. 1st EDWARD BLOXTON; m. 2nd JOSEPH JACKSON GREGG Lucinda Jane Peyton Bloxton Gregg (Lucinda "Jane" Peyton, a/k/a "L. J.", "Jane", or "Lucinda J."), was born in Stafford County, Virginia in 1815. Rebecca Martin Peyton (Mrs. John Allen), b. 1826; d. 15 May 1854, age 28. (Their baby daughter, Rebecca Martin Allen, d. 12 APR 1855, age 11 mos.) They are buried in the Rollow Family Cemetery, Stafford County, VA. Simeon C. Peyton, b. 17 JAN 1829; d. 29 OCT 1905; m. Roxena T., b. 27 MAY 1836; d. 22 APR 1898 (Roxena may have been a widow -- two step-children are listed on the Falmouth, Stafford Co., VA 1880 census: Roberta W. Newton (18) and George E. Newton (16).) Simeon C. Peyton, at age 30, was not married on the 24 Jul 1860 Stafford Courthouse census, when Lucinda Jane Peyton Bloxton's 20-yr-old son was visiting him from Shelby County, AL (Orion Bloxton). Simeon WAS married on the 1870 Census for Falmouth, SC, VA. Sarah Maddox (Mrs. Thomas Peyton) was the sister of Catherine (Maddox) Proctor; Lucretia (Maddox) Jett Shackelford; and Benedicta (Maddox) -- Mrs. Samuel Bloxton; then Mrs. Edward Fleury/Flurry/Flowery -- Lucinda Jane Peyton Bloxton's mother-in-law.
