In the 1760s and 1770s there were several Buchanans in Falmouth--James and Andrew. James was apparently on the city board and was an attorney--and Andrew was an attorney as well. I don't know anything beyond that, but have run into them in a number of deeds, wills, etc. from King George Co. Karen Dale
