Linda, At the present time, I can find no direct line to Jim, but it is being constantly researched. My Bowie side came from Charles County, Md. and Jim's side came from Prince Georges County Md. But I have a few cousins and others who are continually looking for links, but as of yet there are no relationship to be found. Both of these sets of Bowie's came from Scotland, but different areas. The PG County Bowie's are from the lowlands, and the Charles County Bowie's are from the highlands. That probably says why I love the mountains. With best regards, Troy W.
