#1. My g-grandmother was Lucy Alexander Shelton from Stafford County. Lucy married Joseph Melton Gallahan from Stafford County. Both are buried at Margo, VA in Mine Road Baptist Church Cemetery. This is all I know. I do not have dates or any further info. Can anyone tell me the parents of Joseph Gallahan or Lucy Shelton. Where in Stafford were they from.....brothers, sisters.....any information would be appreciated. #2. How did Shelton's Shop and other such named places get that name. #3. My g-grandfather was Eustace Samuel Raines from Stafford County.....somewhere in back of the current Stafford County Courthouse I am told. Eustace was born 12 Aug 1858. Eustace married Rosa Belle Williams. He died 9 Nov 1930 in Alexander of cancer and is buried in Bethel Cemetery in Alexander. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. #4. Does anyone have any information on Rowzee(or Rousey,Rowzer, Rouzie) Raines from Stafford County born about 1822.
