    2. Friends of the MUSSELMANs, including those who know them though their books, will be sad to hear of this loss. Richmond, Virginia, TIMES-DISPATCH, 22 January 2001 MUSSELMAN Mildred Hampton Musselman, 73, of Glen Allen, passed away and resting in peace, January 21, 2001. She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 53 years, Carl P. Musselman; loving and adoring daughter, Carla Paige Musselman of Maitland, Fla.; loving and caring sister, Dolores V. Stanton of Sandston, Va.; also several nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #9808, the Moose Lodge and Lakeside Baptist Church. She had a passion for Genealogy and had documented the family history back to the 1700's, publishing a book of the family tree in 1995. She retired as a Certified Professional Secretary and received many accolades as a Toastmaster. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., where services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. Fredericksburg, Virginia, FREE LANCE-STAR, 23 January 2001 Mildred Musselman A funeral for Mildred Hampton Musselman, 73, of Glen Allen will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, Richmond. Burial will be in Westhampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Musselman died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, at her home. Her husband, Carl P. Musselman, is formerly of Fredericksburg. She had retired as a secretary and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, the Moose Lodge and Lakeside Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter; a sister; and several nieces and nephews.
