    3. Hi Mary, I have a Sarah Crosby b. April 4, 1678 in Northumberland Co., this seems too early for your Sarah. Mine md. Peter Hayes. The George Crosby Sr. who is her father was son of Daniel Crosby and wife (unknown). George died in Stafford Co., VA. Daniel lived in Northumbrland Co., and was "prob" b. in England. The only child I know abt. of Daniel's is George, the name Sarah was passed down through the generations, along with the name George. This may not be of any help to you but if you pursue the Daniel and George line, you may find your Sarah. 2. Pam Costa
    3. Hi, I am researching the KNIGHT surname. My great-grandfather - Ashby born in 1866 to Henry Knight and Sarah ? in Richmond, VA. Ashby married Mary Joseph McAlevy in Boston, MA on October 27, 1891. They had two children, Joseph Richmond, my grandfather (b. 1901) and Gertrude (b.1889). I don't have much time for my research, as I work in the Bahamas right now and internet access is difficult. I do receive email regularly and would appreciate any info. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be back in the states where I can devote more time. Not having easy internet access is a bummer. Thanks for a wonderful website and newsgroup. Pam Knight Costa
