Wilmer, You were perfectly clear. Apparently, I was not. My apologizes; however, I see no reason NOT tell people, per request, if their surname is in the index. I know you have RITTER/RUTTERs in your family and could easily say yes or no to this question. No one expects you to DUMB all the surnames, only to respond to their particular request. I would think this would help to sell books which is what your intention is, I assume, by taking the time to post to ALL the lists the price and address where we could order the book. I, for one, would love to get my check in the mail immediately; however, I would like to know if RITTER/RUTTER is in the index of surnames. A simple yes or no is all that is needed. These lists are to share and that is all I was inquiring about-----------NOT dumping the whole index at one time on the site.
