Koontz, et al., carries the following note, "This book has been reduced 32% from the original." I have no information regarding the map scale of the similar reduction of the atlas by G. P. Hammond. I do not know how the distance a piece of property from the Shenandoah County Courthouse was measured or determined. May have been an estimate as the crow flies. If anyone know, please post. Joe
