Hello, This e-mail is being to you by Stan and Jim Gilreath (Amy's husband and son) to inform you that Amy passed away... peacefully...at home...in her sleep...on Tuesday, December 23rd. I never got to meet Amy in person. We met online years ago and she became one of my dearest friends. She was witty, charming and brilliant. She was always there for me when I needed her. Amy had asthma. She had been going to rehab since she had recuperated from respiratory arrest years ago. Recently, her doctor told her she did not need to return to rehab and I knew we were going to lose our beloved Amy. I don't know how we come to love those online that we never meet in person but I truly loved Amy as much as if we had met. God bless her soul. I know she's in Heaven and giggling about meeting her ancestors and solving those last few brick walls she recently acquired. I will miss Amy forever.
