Misunderstanding in communication-- sorry, let me try again. We plan to place the index on a website, probably Hampshire County Rootsweb or Historic Hampshire. When that happens, an announcement will be made on the various Lists (such as VASHEN-L) where the index information may be accessed-- the URL. It's too much information to dump onto message boards in adjoining counties (not considered to be good etiquette-- could increase the number of unsubscribers). Besides, we want that database posted at a permanent location rather than in passing, such as a discussion list. I should reiterate that the book is a publication of the 250th Anniversary Committee in Hampshire County. It is not a Kerns publication, even though I was co-editor and wrote a fair amount of the content. Wilmer L.
