Joe, That was one of the thoughts I had. I don't know of any Thomas Forrer, however. Christian, Samuel, Henry, and Daniel I know, but not Thomas. Another possibility might be Thomas Farrel, with the l written small. And, of course, there was a family name pronounced "Farr", as in the former police chief of Luray, but I don't think they were around in the early 1800's. I'll save this one till I next get to Edinburg and can look at the bonds. I'm interested, as always, in anyone that ties in with my ironworker families. By the way, I'm thinking about your Clem-Revercomb question. I have several such confusing names in my family tree so it helps me to look at someone else's problem to see if I get ideas about my folks. When did you live up Dry Run? I didn't know there were Bakers there. The only Bakers I knew of lived out at Kimball, and that was a long time ago.
