We haven't done much since then to finish our task of completing our censuses. The 'flame' was greatly diminished. So it's nice to hear from you ! Thanks for the confirmation on the 'per' notation. This is spelled out in many other county tax lists but we have never seen it written the way it is in the Shenandoah tax lists. We shall add this to our learned lessons list. There used to be a wonderful website all about Shenandoah and Page County records. Because of the constant negative emails from "Whiners" it was removed. Don't let this happen to the tax list - they are full of wonderful info.
