    3. Wow. This is good. I didn't know a group went to Highland Co. and I found a Hugh Henry family amongst my Henry's that had lived in Ross and Highland before moving to Madison Co., Oh and on to Coles Co., IL in the 1840's. Thanks for the info. Do you know the names of the individuals that went first to Ross and then to Highland? -----Original Message----- From: Geo & Ann Davis [mailto:anndavis@adelphia.net] Sent: Sunday, September 21, 2003 8:21 PM To: VASHENAN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [VASHENAN] Ritter/Rutter, Corder, Henry Also keep in mind many went from Shenandoah and Rockhingham Co Va to Highland and Ross Counties in Ohio. My Kendall family left about 1835 for Highland Co. With them came several Newman relatives who settled in Ross and Highland. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Kittle" <diane.kittle@voyager.net> To: <VASHENAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 21, 2003 8:03 PM Subject: [VASHENAN] Ritter/Rutter, Corder, Henry > Chocy and Nancy, > Thought you may be interested in this, although I'm guessing you both have > this info, but ... just in case. 3. My HOOP family (John & Peter) went (around 1800)to Highland County, Ohio along with other Shenandoah County families. Later some of their families moved to Shelby County, Indiana. I see many Shenandoah County names when I look at Highland County records. Also another branch of my family (DRUCK/TROOK) went to Stark County, Ohio and Union County, Indiana in the early 1800's. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Diane Kittle" <diane.kittle@voyager.net> To: <VASHENAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 21, 2003 8:22 PM Subject: RE: [VASHENAN] Ritter/Rutter, Corder, Henry > Wow.
