Thank you for the look up! I did not know where Louis was in 1850. This is a little part of the riddle solved. So he was not living at home. I think his parents may have still been somewhere in Maryland, or perhaps another Virginia county. I do not even know for sure, how his first name is spelled. it fluctuates from Lewis to Louis with each census.Every new fact brings me closer! Thank you for taking the time for me.
