Hi Jim, I did some researching on the John Gyger/Gieger family he was married to Catherine Newlen, the sister of Susannah Newlen who was married to Richard Weeks. I found his name in the will of Daniel Newlen that you sent to me. It seems that John's father Adam Geiger was in Fairfield Co., Ohio in 1811. He is buried in the Geiger Cemetery in Pleasantville, Fairfield Co., Ohio. Richard and Susannah were in Fairfield Co., Ohio in 1810-1830. I'm almost sure this is my Richard and Susannah Weeks. Both families, Weeks and Geiger were in Fairfield Co at the same time. I will have to do a lot more digging, but I think I'm on the right track. Do you know where and what cemetery Daniel Newlen is buried in? You have helped me so much.
