Hi folks, George Corder was in Joshua Ruffner's Co of Infantry, 6th Regiment VA Militia when he released from the War of 1812. He was discharged from Carn X road which was 120 miles from his home. The Corders did not own land in ShenCo. If I could figure out where Carn X roads was located, it might give me a clue as to where the Corder family lived. So far, my maps and mapping programs have failed to locate Carn X road. Any ideas? Nancy
