Hi Kym, and researchers, I have been checking some of my cds for your Williams family. It is really like looking for a needle in a haystack, so I have not checked each incidence of a John, Benjamin, Phillip or Issac Williams. None the less, I have found a couple things which might interest you and the other researchers who are interested in this line. On the "Ohio Source Records", on Pioneers of Ohio cd #528, I found: Tax Records for Athens Co. Oh for 1810 Nathaniel Williams and a John Williams are listed in this list. Would Nathaniel be familiar to you? I saw several incidences of a Nathaniel in some of the other records that I looked at. Could this be a father, son there in 1810, by any chance? Do you think this could be your John? There are approximately three file pages of names in Athens Co. Ohio, which I could send you or anyone on the list, who might be interested in it, by rtf or whatever. In order to copy/paste from the cd, one must copy and paste each page individually, which isn't a problem; but one can't copy sections of the page.....
