You are talking about the Shenandoah emigration. I have found my descendants lived in Virginia, then went to Ohio, Perry County, then on to Indiana. But the stop in Ohio met up with people from Pennsylvania or they followed not sure. My ggggrandfather married my ggggrandmother from Pennsylvania and then came to Indiana. I found they moved to Ohio before 1840. Because he married and had a child after 1840. A lot of family with the same last name moved to Ohio. I dont know how they all connect must be cousins but still trying to figure that out. I wonder why some stayed behind and some moved along. Dee
