Chocy and Nancy, Thought you may be interested in this, although I'm guessing you both have this info, but ... just in case. I was going through the 1820 and 1830 census for Pickaway Co., OH (as you both know many families from Shenandoah went there) and since spelling wasn't the census takers biggest strength, I thought I would share this. Remember that many Shenandoah families originally went to Pickaway with William Renick, John Lewin, etc. The Hites, Spitlers, Henry's, Bells, Clines, etc. went in the same time frame. I once sent a list of those that went to Pickaway from Shenandoah between the years 1805 - 1815. I was looking house by house, as my Enoch Henry from Shenandoah went there and I found the following in the little township of Walnut very close to him, in Pickaway Co., OH where Enoch once ran a "distillery". William Henry ran the tavern in Circleville which was the county seat and state capital in those early days prior to moving it to Franklin County, I believe. 1820 Henery Ritter - 1 male under 10 yrs., 2 males over 45 yrs., 1 female under 10, 1 female 26 - 45 yrs. Henery must have been born before 1775. 1830 John Corder - 1 male under 5, 1 male 5-10, 2 males 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 2 females under 5, 1 female 5-10, 11 female 30-40. This John must have been born about 1780-1790. A few houses down was: 1830 James Corder - 1 m under 5, 1 male 5-10, 1 male 40-50, 1 female under 5, 2 females 10-15, 2 females 15-20, 1 female 40-50. James must have been born about 1780-1790 as well. 1830 Joseph Corder right next to James (not sure his name was Joseph it was one of those old names and looked liked Jepe or Jefe in cursive. Doesn't this stand for Joseph? Anyway, he had - 1 male under 5, 1 male 30-40, 1 female under 5, and 1 female 20-30. Diane

Also keep in mind many went from Shenandoah and Rockhingham Co Va to Highland and Ross Counties in Ohio. My Kendall family left about 1835 for Highland Co.
