I am looking for information on Michael Sigler (1753-1833). He married Mary Penneywitt in 1792 in Shenandoah County. Both Michael and Mary are buried in the old Union Cemetery at Mt. Jackson. My specific questions are these: 1. Who were Michael Sigler's parents? Michael first appears in the Shenandoah Co. Personal Tax List in 1788. He is listed with Jacob Sigler. Michael would have been about 35 years old at the time. Was Jacob a brother, the father, an uncle? 2. Where did Michael Sigler reside before living in Shenandoah County? He does not appear on Tax Lists prior to 1788, but consistently appears afterward. Thanks for any information. Mae Cleveland
