Following up on the recent maps discussion. . . Today, I checked the date of the segments copied from Boye's Map of Virginia. While the caption of the map in an article on Valley furnaces was noted as 1825, the map itself was 1825/1859. Lena Fuller found both versions of the maps at the LVA Map sites. Sandra
