I'm searching for the family of Elizabeth WEAVER, b. 1776 PA, who married Nathan THOMPSON in 1794 in Jefferson Co. TN. The WEAVER family moved from PA to VA to Jefferson Co. TN. Elizabeth and Nathan made their home in Hawkins Co. TN before moving to Alabama ca. 1818. This is Elizabeth's obit: Book: Marriages and Obituaries from the New Orleans Christian Advocate, 1851-1860, with Complete Index Volume I, compiled by E. M. and Emma L. Tipton, 1980, page 195.   No. 16. 18 May 1859, Page 2, Col. 3 - Deaths:   Mrs. ELIZABETH THOMPSON died 25 April 1859 at the residence of Mr. T. MUSGROVE in Fayette County, AL. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WEAVER; was born near Philadelphia, PA, 27 Sep 1776; emigrated to VA., thence to Jefferson County, Tenn, where she married, at age 20, Mr. NATHAN THOMPSON, who died about 18 years ago. They moved to Hawkins County, and after several years to Fayette County where she has resided for forty years. She leaves a large number of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren."   (This was followed by a sentence that said: Nashville Advocate, please copy.
