About 1806 Enoch Henry (b. 1780) went from Shenandoah Co. to Fairfield Co., OH where he operated a distillery on John Decker's farm. John died in Fairfield in 1837 but his children continued to run the place and his widow lived with them until she died in 1861 or 1862. John went to Fairfield from Shenandoah in 1805. It seems John's descendants tend to be residing wherever Enoch and his descendants live. I wonder if there is a connection of any sort between the Henry and Decker families. Has anyone researched the Decker family? I would be interested in where John came from. Does anyone know this? Any information about the Decker's would be appreciated. Does anyone know if the Moses Henry (possibly of Lancaster Co., PA and John Decker of Virginia that were at Post Vincennes (now Indiana) in the mid 1700's were related? This Moses Henry also sold some land in what is now Knox Co., IN to a Luke Decker. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.
