I have an ancestor who was bonded to a Huddle family in the Strasburg-Woodstock area in 1802 when 7 years old. Question: Does anyone know if the Poor District authorities maintained any record of bonded kids, like what happened to them? I do have the record from the Poor District 1 specifying the bonding. My 2ggfather was George Oglevie and he was evidently bonded to George Huddle to learn farming. He married a girl from the same area, Cathrine Nichiser, 27 Sep 1821. There is no other info in the marriage records. The Poor District 1 record says his dad was Robert. I'm looking for more about the parents of George Oglevie. Thanks for any info. Clark
