Be very cautious of this census. There was no 1750 Mennonite census of the Shenandoah area. As I recall, Mr Davis somewhat made up this census. Somewhere on Rootsweb or Ancestry.com there is a letter of how this so-called census came to be. I don't have the time right now to find it. This from "Emigrants, Refugees and Prisoners > Vol III" by Davis > Betty Carson I have got to ask.....is this Mennonite census only of Mennonites? And can you give me a ISB number or something on this book so I can request it from the library? Thank you so much - I was not aware of this source. Mary<
