    3. Hi Don, I am not an author but, after loosing my job, I began reprinting several of the old genealogy books in my collection. I have now written my own software to prepare the books for print and bought my own bookbinding equipment so I can print the books one at a time myself and keep the prices low. I am trying to make a go of it. I am located just east of Front Royal which is fairly close and would appreciate the opportunity to attend; both to show the books and display my genealogy and meet others working on the same lines. I am searching for Allen, McKay, Lillard, etc... Primarily the Joseph Allen b. ca 1784 who married Nancy Lillard in Cocke Co., TN, the daughter of Col William Lillard of Culpepper Co., VA/Cocke Co, TN and Rachel (McKay) Leeth of Shenandoah Co., VA/Cocke Co. TN. He is supposed to be from Shenandoah county and in fact there is a Reuben Allen in Cocke Co., who's ancestors have been definitely traced to Shenandoah. Reuben Allen attended the same Primative Baptist Church as Col Lillard and Rachel's brother LTC Abraham McKay/McCoy so there may be a connection there. I have not been able to trace this Reuben Allen's ancestors to the Reuben Allen who first settled Shenandoah Co. but the earlier Reuben attended the same Crooked Run, MM Quaker church as did Rachel McKay's father, Moses and grandfather, Robert.
