Good Born: 22 September 1833 Married 18 November 1858 to Barbara Gochenour, d/o Joseph One of their sons was Joseph Franklin Samuel Good Born: 25 September 1859 Married: 3 March 1885 to Ida Florence Foltz/Fultz born 28 June 1857 in Rockbridge County, d/o Uriah Foltz and Anna Hoover. (Our previous response has more info on them) One of their sons Michael Ray Good married 17 February 1928 to Emma Rulette Hopewell and had a son named Robert Edward Lee Bushong, our Bob Good. Bob married Edith Mae Dove. They still live on the Good family land on Smith Creek Road. Now Bob's 1st cousin twice removed was Isaac Timothy Good, s/o Samuel Good and Sarah Wampler whose ancestry goes back to Elder Michael J. Good. Isaac Timothy Good married Martha Florence "Mattie" Bushong, d/o Anderson M. Bushong and Delilah Frances Bowen, d/o Jacob Bowen and wife Catharine. The Bowen family was from Rappahannock County. Phoebe Bowen married Jonas Myers and lived near New Market. She was the Aunt of Delilah Bowen who married Anderson M. Bushong who was the son of Jacob Bushong and Sarah Strickler (Brubaker heir) of the New Market Battlefield family. We have posted a lot of information about Delilah Bowen Bushong and Phebe Bowen Myers on our BOSCHONG List. You might want to take a look. Jonas Myers was a farmer and a distiller. Simeon Woods probably grew grapes for him. The Shaver kids were probably related to either Jonas Myers or Phoebe Bowen in some way.
