I have been watching this about a Tunis Quick with interest....Tunis is one of the early spellings of my Turney family - and they were in this area say 1750-1770s.....and now the mention of an Adams....later in TN there was a Turney / Adams connection. so....could Tunis born 1793 have had a Turney female in his line perhaps? We know of two of the daughters of Peter Turney SR bp 1710/11 .....Eve married John Teeter and by 1774 was living in what is now Scott Co VA.....Maria / Mary might be the wife of John Valentine Buhler/beeler and she also by 1774 had moved to near Bristol TN/VA......I have always thought there could have been other female siblings. Could one have married a Quick?
