Pat - I drove west out of New Market, through Timberville and ended up in a park where there was sking in the winter. Probably rte. 33 or 42 to 220, near the north side of Seneca Rock. After I passed thru the parkland and was heading toward Petersburg, I found the furnace right along the road. When I returned east, I found myself on the road that comes out by the war memorial.
