My research shows that Dora L Peters was the daughter of John Peters and Sarah Mowery. Can anyone verify this for me? Dora was my great grandmother. stephen

All Shenandoah County, VA Dora was the daughter of John A. Peters 1848 - 1931 and Sallie A. Will 1852 - 1921 Both born in Shenandoah County and died in Cumberland County, VA John A. Peters was the son of John Peters 1810 - 1878 and Mary Ann Lloyd 1829 - 1854 (2nd wife) John A. Peters's mother Mary Ann Lloyd died when he was 6 years old and I am sure he thought of John Peters's (his father) third wife, Sarah Mowrey, as his mother. My Great grandmother, Susan Peters was John A. Peters sister. I have more about Dora and George if you want it.
