Hello all, Saturday April 12, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., is the sixth annual Shenandoah County Heritage Day at the Woodstock American Legion (directions available). This year's featured area is the area west of Edinburg along Stoney Creek and includes Readus, Wakemans Grove and Lantz Mill among other villages and communities. If you are interested in a table (various sizes available) to display your research please let me know. Displays are not limited to the featured area - you are welcome to share with us any aspect of your research that pertains to Shenandoah County, its history, towns, villages, schools, churches and families. This is the sixth annual event and the Shenandoah County Heritage Day Committee would love to have you join us for a day of sharing history in the home of our ancestors.
