Hello friends, It is once again time to plan for Shenandoah County Heritage Day in Woodstock, Virginia. This year we will return to the American Legion in Woodstock for our sixth annual event. This year's spotlight area is the Bedford area with Greenhill, Union Forge, Lantz Mill and Readus Road, all within the Stony Creek area. However, as you know, we are not limited to this area, so bring your family research, etc. to share with our visitors. Mills, shops, schools, churches, families and events of the past can be shared in exhibits, family trees, photographs and stories. If you would like to have space to display your work and exhibits, please let me know by March 1 - I will reserve your space. After March 1, tables will be available on a first come-first served basis if we fill up our space. This year's event will be held on Saturday April 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodstock American Legion on the corner of South and Muhlenberg streets.
