Good Morning!!! Good to see another Shenandoah County tradition brought up. This one has "precious memories". The last "pounding" Billy Bob and I attended was several years back at the Valley Pike parsonage to welcome our present pastor, Bill Garber, and his wife, LaVonne. Friends and members of the congregation brought a variety of food staples and other gifts. Some folks were sitting on the floor and the house was packed. I think we took a big bag of sugar. Also, we shared one of my handpainted rocks. Told them they could use it for "pounding", too!!! Gotta get going. My friend, Jane, is coming after while. Today we plan to get into some more creative projects. Hoping to teach her how to needle felt, and we'll discuss about our plans for growing gourds. Maybe, she will be a gourdhead, too!!! Have a great day and God Bless. Later, Nancy ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Friday, February 15, 2008 3:02 AM Subject: VASHENAN Digest, Vol 3, Issue 36 > Today's Topics: > > 1.
