Hal, I have the Evy name in my late husband's lineage, only I start at an earlier date than you. Jacob Evy married Susan Snavely; in 1822 they were livng in Washington Co., MD. Others of the family (Snavely married Foglesong) were in Greene and Warren counties, OH The Evy/Eby and variant spellings were earlier in Lancaster Co.
