    2. Good question. I already knew that Frank Bushong owned property on the River at one time but wasn't sure where. Also I found out at the Bushong reunion from a descendant of Joseph and Fannie Myers that they lived on the west side of the River at one time which surprised me. By talking to Harry Long of New Market, who is a wealth of information he helped put the whole thing in perspective. He said there were two forges in Lee district, New Market area. Both forges were owned by the Pennybakers, one named Pine Forge and the other he thought really never had a name, it was Cave or Kay Hill Mill but later used for a forge. He was glad to know what it was called. Since there were only two forges in that area then it only stands to reason that this had to be Valley Forge since we definitely knew where Pine Forge was located. Anyone have any thoughts on this?     3. Gloria, Could this be Your"Valley Forge " Could this be the forge before Pine? Did Bushong get it with foundry on it?
