They applied for the license on the 23 and married on the 24th. They then moved to Kansas where Rebecca and probably her daughter Laura died between the 1870 and 1880 census probably of TB. There are a few like coincidences in the 1880 census but if you take a look a closer look at this census, you will find that the name of this L. Jane Wolfe's mother is Belinda, she a widow and she was born in Indiana not Virginia.
