    2. Chocy and Listmates, One thing I know I have done with this post is totally confuse everyone since I posted back in July 2010 that John Bushong was married twice: M/1: Elizabeth Sprenckel M/2: Elizabeth Wendel/Windle That would be a simple solution to the whole problem except we have not been able to prove that the two John's are one and the same totally since there are a few discrepancies that we never could work out. There is still John Bushong married to Elizabeth Rogers and John Bushong/Bosang married to Elizabeth Burk to work into the scenario so that is why for the moment, I have to go with how the documents currently read which were in the current post. What we DO know is that John Bushong born 1754, died 1793, married Elizabeth Wendel/Windle and had a son named John born 1781, died 1839 and that the John known as John Jr. served in the Revolutionary War under George Long. And Jacob Bushong is the son of Jacob Bushong and Juliana Weigel. That we have proven. We believe that the younger John born 1781 served in the War of 1812. I pray someday that the correct documents would be revealed and all would be clear. Gloria
