I have been unable to locate a marriage record (sometime around 1845) for William Liggett and Mary Frye or burial information. I found them in the 1850-1880 census records in Shenandoah County. It appears that William Liggett died between 1870 and 1880 so it looks like there should be a tombstone for him. I can't find burial locations for his parents Peter Liggett and Catherine Gibler either. Peter died after the 1860 census (he was 83). And Catherine appears to have died after the 1850 census. Perhaps some of you might have some resources I have not seen yet.
