One more piece of information. On the Liggett Forum a fellow by the name of Walter Farwell posted the following information. The Will states Peter of Shenandoah County, but like I said he seemed to have been in Frederick County in the 1800's. Gloria B. 1805: Will of PATRICK LIGGET of Carlisle, Cumberland co., PA: Wife Jane. Children: 1. Jacob (Deed book V,p.239, 12/21/1812 says he's of ROCKINGHAM CO., Virginia) 2. PETER (Deed book U, p.621, 3/27/1812 says he's of SHENANDOAH CO., Virginia) 3. Stephen (Deed book AA, p. 256, 4/29/1814 says he's of BROOKE CO., Virginia) 4. Daniel (no deed record found) 5-8: (No search was made trying to locate a deed record where these daughters were sell- ing their shares.)--Mary Filson, Sarah Ligget Haymaker, Jane Burns, Elizabeth Heft.

This is Mary's Husband, I am sorry to say Mary passed away Nov. 14th from cancer.
