Both are buried in Bennets Chapel Cemetery west of Front Royal. George F. Clem was a son of Tobias Samuel Clem (1819-1893) and Elizabeth McInturff (1819-1899). JANE FEAGAN Mrs. Jane Coverstone Feagan passed to eternal life last night at 10:30 at her home on West Greenup Avenue after an illness of less than three weeks. Mrs. Feagan first suffered an attack of influenza from which she rallied and was thought to be recovering when pneumonia developed, causing her death. She was a native of Virginia but had lived in Ashland for the past 18 years and has reared a splendid family of sons and daughters. her industry and courage in the support and education of her family have made her life a beautiful example of mother love. She had the friendship and highest respect of all who knew her. Three sons and three daughters survive. Gary Feagan, the eldest son, was for years employed here by Charles lordier, the druggist. He now is located in California, and is unable to come to attend his mother's funeral. Guy and Dewey, the younger boys, are at home. Of the daughters, Mrs. C. B. Wilson lives in Columbus. The unmarried daughters are Misses Mary and Ina Feagan. The funeral will be conducted from the home next Sunday. The hour for the service has not been announced. The sympathy of all those who for years have been interested in the Feagan family is extended to the children in their irreparable loss. Part 1 of 6 ------------------- Merry Christmas Vashenan Subscribers, We were recently contacted by a Coverstone/Bushong/Clem descendant and when we looked in our BOSCHONG Archives, we realized that we had not put much about Elizabeth Bushong, daughter of John Bushong and Magdalena Bauserman or her Coverstone family on the List although we did research on them many many years ago. Elizabeth Bushong married Isaac Coverstone and died when only 30 years of age and her husband Isaac Coverstone then married Mary Elizabeth "Polly" Clem. Since there is so much interest in the Powell's Fort area now that Jeanette's new book is out, I decided to share my research with the Vashenan List on the Powell's Fort family, so here is my research on the Bushong/Coverstone/Clem family of Powells Fort Valley.
