Hello, Thanks for your response....so sorry that I did not use more names etc. when responding to this. I know better than this, but my information is listed all over the webb, and on my websites, so I guess I get so I assume that everyone knows my work. :-) I was just throwing out a fishing line, so to speak, wondering if our leggs and yours might connect..... I don't see the names that you mentioned in my files, of course; but that may only mean that I haven't discovered a connection yet. I am a very broad researcher.....:-) Have a great day! Hi Joyce, I don't think I have any LEGG family members linked to Prince William Co., VA. At least none that I am aware of at this time. It might make for easier comparison of data, though, if you were to cite dates (birth, death, etc) in addition to locations, when referring to events. Rather than throwing out names, because I have quite a few too, let me just say that my LEGG family line starts with John Henry LEGG, b. Abt 1849, Cabell Co., VA/WV and wife, Sarah Ann (CREMEANS) LEGG, b. 1869, Cabell Co.. There is some indication that John's parents were Willis LEGG, b. 1817, and Rebecca (CHAPMAN) LEGG, b. 1830. But I can't confirm that yet. As I mentioned in my original post, though, I am currently seeking any information available on a "more recent" ancestor - Reccie (LEGG) LUTZ, reportedly residing in Mount jackson, Shenandoah Co., VA , circa 1983, at the time of her father's death in Rockingham Co., VA. I am so happy for you. Anyone who walks from ICU to their room can overcome almost anything.
CONGRATULATIONS! You must have had some good physicians but The Great Physician was the enabler. Good to have you back......Eugene dsilvius@intrepid.net wrote: > > Hello Shenandoah County cousins and friends! > > I am home! Hello Shenandoah County cousins and friends! I am home! I spent 24 hours in ICU, and WALKED from there to the room I stayed in. Four days later, I am home. Of course, I will be in slow gear for awhile - but hope to get moving on some projects that will further our mutual obsession with Shenandoah County genealogy. Thanks for your prayers and support. Hi again, I just thought that I would let you all know that Don is doing very well, he was out of ICU and into a regular room at about noon today. His surgeon is pleased with his progress. He is in room 315 at the Winchester Medical Center. Bye, Cathy S.
I just sent an email to Cathy asking for the address. I don't know that she's reading her email right now, though. Alley: Will we be getting an address to send Get Well Greetings? Thanks, Kathy Heare Watts, Sevierville, TN
Don's wife, Cathy, sent this last night. Hello, Don asked me to let you all know how he is doing. He came through the surgery fine - they took four graphs instead of the three I was expecting. He is progessing well and should be out of ICU tomorrow afternoon. When I left him this evening, he had come out of the anesthesia ok and they had taken him off the respirator. He looks really good and was listening to the nurses (?!). Thanks for being there for him. Cathy Silvius
Thanks Alley. That is the first hurdle. I can relate, I have had two triples. Walt Peterman
Hi Alley, Thanks, must have had a late start. Lena
Just spoke with Cathy, Don's wife. Don got out of surgery at 11:30am. Was in recovery for 45 minutes. His color is good and he's doing fine. Has been moved to ICU. He's coming out of the anesthesia now. Cathy will email me when she gets home and give me an update. Thanks for the prayers for our dear friend, Don. Alley
Don is out of surgery and in the recovery room. That's all I know. Alley
