When the original word got out to the list a year ago there was a great influx of interested people...then when we posted an update a couple months ago more still were interested. PLEASE, now IS the time to get your pre-paid orders to Wanda. The information is included along with her e-mail address in her message. I for one am anxious to have my own copy. There is so much information within the covers of that book!! I am NOT taking orders...Wanda is. She is a member of the Retired Teacher's Association. As you'll see by her message all $$ go towards the book and any residual towards the children of Scott County. The RTA does not personally benefit other than to further spread the history of the county and enrich the lives of children who benefit form their scholarships. So we need prepaid orders now. The company has set a 6-weeks deadline if we can get order to them soon. Cost is $56 plus $4 for mailing ($60). Checks should be made to Scott County Retired Teachers and mailed to SCRTA, P.O. Box 1027, Gate City, VA 24251.
