Dear List: I'm somewhat of a geneology rookie and I need some helpful advice from those of you who are much more experienced. I have been researching DARNELL and HENSLEY in Scott, Co., and have corresponded with many of you directly.... I recently discovered a .ged file on ancestry.com that contains 9,376 names...part of the file contains my grandfather, his parents and siblings...all the way down to me. (Wild to see myself and my own young kids) There is a submitter email address included, however my mail was returned as undeliverable...I would love to know who this person is that has put all of this together...kinda eerie actually, and although is doesn't contain the extent of the past generations of my family...the living ones are up there! I don't understand the inner-workings of a .ged file...just pointing and clicking my way through it. I would like to know exactly where our line ties in to this extensive tree, but I can't figure it out. Could someone please help me? Thanks, Kelly Darnell Doughty
