Born at Speers Ferry, Virginia, Scott County on Feb.18,1903< Hi Dana, Not sure if I can help much but Kinnie's brother, Kelsie lived around the corner from my family in the early '40s. His back yard butted agains ours. There were two boys but don't remember a mother being there. I was told that Kelsie was killed in the early 50's when he fell out of a vehicle on Lynn Garden Dr. in Kingsport. Pete Dykes of the Daily News in Kingport wrote a 3 or 4 vol set on Kinnie's start in his troubles and the ensuing trial. They are short and at one time cost $11 for all.
